Company
SomaMe is the trading name of SOMAME APP LTD, based in Kumasi, Ghana. We design, build and operate our own software, and we build platforms for organisations with real operational complexity.
Communities run on coordination: who is coming, who is missing, who needs a call, who is fetching what, whose money is where. In most places we work, that coordination still happens on paper, in memory and across personal phones.
SomaMe builds software for that work. Not generic tools adapted to Ghana, but products designed from the first screen for Mobile Money, shared devices, varied literacy and networks that come and go — and engineered so they could run anywhere with the same conditions.
We are a product company: we choose the problems, design and engineer the software, release it to real users and operate it. Most of our work is in Flutter for mobile, Next.js for the web, and Google Cloud and Firebase behind them, with applied AI where it earns its place.
We write down who should see what, what happens when the network drops, and where money moves — before we write the screens.
Our first apps taught us that everyday coordination is won or lost at the edges — timeouts, cancellations, hand-offs. Asori taught us that permissions are a product, not a setting, and that a church will only open its register to software that respects scope.
Both taught us to show status honestly. Every product and experiment on this site says whether it is live, built, a pilot or an experiment.
Opening Asori to more churches, each verified before onboarding. Taking Estorr and Oxie from built products to their first shops and schools, and certifying Asori Edge on real cameras before anyone relies on it.

Principles
We design for the church gate, the market stall and the shop counter — the places where the software is actually used — before we design the dashboard.
Queue the actions that must never be lost, sync them safely later, and say clearly when something needs a connection.
Anything that touches faces, photos or personal data is opt-in, reviewable and reversible — with a manual path around it.
People see what their role needs and nothing more. When rules conflict, deny wins.
Costs are shown before actions, settlement is idempotent, and records are corrected with new entries — never erased.
We operate what we ship. Production is where we learn what the product really is.
