Errander Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Mcket Errander platform! These terms and conditions govern your use of our platform as an Errander. By registering and using our services, you agree to these terms.

1. DEFINITIONS

1.1 Errander

An individual who registers on the Mcket platform to provide errand and delivery services to customers.

1.2 Platform

The Mcket mobile application and related services operated by SOMAME APP LTD.

1.3 Errand

A task or service requested by a customer through the platform that includes but is not limited to: shopping, delivery, pickup services, and other approved tasks.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION

2.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to register as an Errander on our platform.

2.2 Registration Requirements

  • Valid government-issued identification
  • Active mobile phone number
  • Bank account or mobile money details for payments
  • Proof of residence
  • Background verification (where applicable)

2.3 Account Verification

All Erranders must complete our verification process before being approved to accept errands. This may include identity verification, background checks, and reference validation.

3. ERRANDER RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Service Standards

As an Errander, you must:

  • Provide reliable and professional service
  • Complete errands within agreed timeframes
  • Handle customer items with care
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Follow all platform guidelines and policies

3.2 Compliance

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations while performing errands, including:

  • Traffic laws and regulations
  • Local business licensing requirements
  • Age verification for restricted items
  • Health and safety protocols

3.3 Professional Conduct

Erranders must maintain professional behavior at all times, including respectful communication and appropriate appearance.

4. EARNINGS AND PAYMENTS

4.1 Payment Structure

Erranders earn fees based on:

  • Base service fee
  • Distance traveled
  • Time invested
  • Complexity of the errand
  • Tips from customers (optional)

4.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed weekly and sent to your registered payment method. Payment delays may occur due to verification requirements or technical issues.

4.3 Deductions

The platform may deduct applicable fees, taxes, or amounts related to disputes or damages from your earnings.

5. WORK FLEXIBILITY

5.1 Independent Contractor Status

Erranders are independent contractors, not employees of SOMAME APP LTD. You have the flexibility to:

  • Choose when to work
  • Select which errands to accept
  • Use your preferred transportation method
  • Set your availability

5.2 No Guaranteed Work

The platform does not guarantee a minimum number of errands or minimum earnings. Work availability depends on customer demand.

6. EQUIPMENT AND EXPENSES

6.1 Personal Equipment

Erranders are responsible for providing and maintaining their own:

  • Transportation (bicycle, motorcycle, car, etc.)
  • Mobile device with internet connection
  • Safety equipment (helmet, reflective gear, etc.)
  • Any other necessary tools for service delivery

6.2 Operating Expenses

All operating expenses including fuel, maintenance, insurance, and communication costs are your responsibility.

7. SAFETY AND INSURANCE

7.1 Safety Requirements

Erranders must prioritize safety and follow all safety protocols, including proper use of safety equipment and adherence to traffic rules.

7.2 Insurance

Erranders are encouraged to maintain appropriate insurance coverage for their activities. SOMAME APP LTD does not provide insurance coverage for Erranders.

8. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

8.1 Grounds for Suspension

Your account may be suspended or terminated for:

  • Violation of these terms
  • Poor performance ratings
  • Fraudulent activities
  • Safety violations
  • Inappropriate conduct

8.2 Appeal Process

If your account is suspended, you may appeal the decision by contacting our support team with relevant documentation.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

9.1 Platform Rights

All rights to the Mcket platform, including trademarks, logos, and proprietary technology, belong to SOMAME APP LTD.

9.2 Usage Restrictions

Erranders may not:

  • Copy or redistribute platform content
  • Use platform intellectual property for personal gain
  • Reverse engineer platform technology

10. LIABILITY AND DISPUTES

10.1 Limitation of Liability

SOMAME APP LTD's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Erranders assume responsibility for their actions while providing services.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

Disputes between Erranders and customers should first be resolved through the platform's support system. Unresolved disputes may be subject to arbitration.

11. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

11.1 Personal Data

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to data collection and processing as described.

11.2 Customer Information

Erranders must protect customer information and use it only for completing assigned errands. Sharing customer information is strictly prohibited.

12. AMENDMENTS AND UPDATES

12.1 Term Updates

SOMAME APP LTD reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or email.

12.2 Continued Use

Continued use of the platform after term updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
